Continuity in spare parts supply for service life extensions

Retrofit, refurbishment or overhaul: the names for the maintenance of rail vehicles are many and varied. Often the overriding goal of these measures is to extend the service life by replacing components. Dinghan SMART offers a continuous supply of spare parts and repairs for well over 30 years, thus also beyond the end of the actual service life. This is what happened, for example, with the inverters for Deutsche Bahn vehicles dating from 1998. Devices were rebuilt and supplied as spare parts for existing vehicles.
