SMART products for Hamburg S-Bahn

Dinghan SMART is supplying Alstom with 128 auxiliary power converters associated battery chargers for the new BR490 multiple units of the Hamburg S-Bahn. The customised devices derived from the proven SMARTconverter and SMARTcharger series are supplied as water-cooled modules for integration into the vehicle's equipment boxes. In addition to low weight and compact dimensions, they are characterised in particular by their high reliability and energy efficiency. Series deliveries will begin in October 2022.
