SMARTconverter LIGHT for the new light rail vehicles for Essen

The vehicle manufacturer CAF orders 102 auxiliary power converters of the type SMARTconverter LIGHT for the new light rail vehicles of the Essen Ruhrbahn. The lightweight and compact auxiliary power converters reduce the vehicles' energy consumption thanks to their high efficiency. Thanks to the "SMARTcooling" cooling system, they are quiet and practically maintenance-free. Deliveries will start in 2023.
